Professor Eva Kubala Havrdová, MD, PhD, is Professor of Neurology at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. Professor Kubala Havrdová is a member of the editorial board of the journal Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders. She organised the 2007 European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis Congress held in Prague. Professor Kubala Havrdová is a member of the Czech Neurological Society, Czech Immunology Society, Multiple Sclerosis International Federation and European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation. She established the network of MS Centers in Czech Republic and introduced biological treatment of MS in this country.
Professor Havrdová’s research interests include cytokine, immunoglobulin and T cell research in multiple sclerosis, and the treatment of malignant multiple sclerosis.
Professor Havrdová has authored over 200 publications on multiple sclerosis, has over 20000 citations and has an h-index of 60.
