Learning objectives

After this meeting, participants should be able to:

• Describe treatment-resistant MDD and the impact of treatment resistance on the patient
• Describe the strategies that can be employed in clinical practice to improve treatment outcomes in patients with treatment-resistant MDD
• Describe the potential benefits of future treatment options on clinical outcomes, and what tools may be available to optimise management of individual patients
